Respect for each country's fan community cultures

At this event, guests and participants will come from several countries which have different fan community cultures.

If you find some creations that appear to violate the rules of your country's or fan community’s, do not post it on social media but ask the organizer.

 

Hashtag and mention

- Do not use official NSR hashtags (#NSR/#NoStraightRoads/#NSR2/#metronomik etc...) please use this event's tag #NSRockFes2026 on your social media.

This is to prevent confusion for people who want to search only for NSR, not the event.

 

- If you would like to post your contents for NSRockFes with the official hashtag, you can share it on another post AFTER the event.

 

- Do not mention the official NSR account about this event except the official does the same action for you.

 

- The organizer makes an effort to check out and share your post with the event hashtag, but they can not do everything due to the timezone or personal affairs.

 

- Basically, the organizer cannot do some reaction for the post without the event hashtag.

 

You must note:

- Do not use NSR official hashtags and NSRock Fes's on the same post.

 

Consequences of Rule-breaking 

You would be removed from the event and your account will be blocked by the NSRock Fes account after three warnings from the organizer.

 

In case you continue with such behaviour after your removal, the event management team will publish your name and account to warn others.

 

You must note:

- You will be removed from the event after three warnings.

- You may check the prohibition from each participant for taking screenshots of their avatar or space/booth.

 

- For using the fan made avatar, you must keep the creator's prohibition.

NSFW contents

*Premise for foreigners 

All (Japanese creator's) contents are manufactured in compliance with Japanese laws and regulations, even if you consider it illegal or uncomfortable in your country.

If you couldn't understand why the contents are displayed, please leave from there calmly and bring it up with the organizer of the event, do not ask the creators directly.

 

If you're under 18 years, you are not allowed to read it and buy it. If under 18 years old children buy NSFW contents, the creator may incur a penalty for selling it according to Japanese law.

The pictBLand, which manages pictSQUARE has a rule of using AI. It is not accepted whichever uses as a material, merch and exhibits, and we also follow that rule.

Also, if you are worried about scraping from AI bots, use Glaze or something else for protecting your artworks.

 

About NSR 2

At this point, Metronomik and the NSR official account have just leaked the short trailer (in 2026, June 21st) for the upcoming NSR2 game.

The participants of the event are not allowed to create any content that spoils the story of NSR2 in case the game has been released before the event is held (be mindful of other fans!)

 

General rules of creation

- Do not use any Screenshots, in-game data (images/3D data/ logos/ sounds), tracing any products without permission to use in your artworks directly or as materials. Using references, aka using material as a waypoint, is OK.

 

- Do not submit your works that are really similar of already-made products, especially logos and 3D objects like keychain, plushies, outfits. Also the too-similar or same fonts also unacceptable since it can be confusing between fan-made or official's.

 

- Do not submit the contents like blaming or claiming to specific in-real individuals/organizations or religions with NSR characters and universe. This is an NSR fan event. (Do not use your submitted content to express any political or religious opinions)

 

- You must search some drawing apps' trouble solutions or settings for your own as much as you can, don't ask the organizer such unrelated questions to the event. (You have to flip the two parts of the sentence: if you have trouble with your drawing app, look/search for a solution on your own. Don't ask the organiser….)

- If you have troubles with your drawing app, search for a solution on your own. Don't ask the organizer such unrelated questions to the event.

 

 Submission rules of projects

- Contact the organizer as soon as you notice if you will be late with your submission by the deadline.

 

- Your submission may be denied after you get a warning from the organizer one time, like: 

 - Submit a file with a wrong name or data specifications.

 - Submitting after the deadline 10 mins past without prior notice.

 - Ignore the rules of creation.

 - Submit without registration.

 

OC/AU (Original Characters/ Alternate Universe)

*Premise for foreigners

OCs and AUs or something original-setting-fan-made culture do not have big popularity in Japanese fandom, especially in games that don't have customizable player characters, like NSR.

(Gijin-ka (Anthromorph), Giju-ka (Furry) or similar are not major contents as well.)

Although, it depends on the game genre and general users.

 

- In this event, basically the contents that are created solely on the unofficial settings, like OCs and AUs, are not accepted because of the popularity of original settings fan-made in Japan.

 

-  Write the caption "This content includes (such like) OC/AU/OC x Canon shipping." as a warning in your original-setting creation. (This is an unspoken Japanese understanding, but we kindly ask you to follow them to avoid  troubles.)

 

You must note:

- OCs and AUs only are not able to be the main contents (exhibits) in this event.

 

NSFW contents 

- If you sell/exhibit any NSFW contents, your booth will gather in a specific area with other NSFW creator’s booth.

 

- Put the NSFW sign or mark as a watermark large with all of your sample pages or images of NSFW contents.

 

- You have to follow the Japanese NSFW content creating rules of comics. (Search up the rules on your own or read this website with a translation app. https://support.akaboo.jp/beginner/468/)

 

- All the contents are denied: Excessive violence, bodily mutilation, or depictions of bloodshed, or encourages suicide or drug use.

 

If your works contain NSFW material, you must note:

- Add the NSFW contents sign or a letter on the cover.

- Add white blurs or black lines for covering all the genitals on your comics.

- Do not sell your NSFW contents under 18 years old guests.

For other troubles

- Basically the troubles between participants have to be resolved by each other, but if you found or happened the trouble that cannot be resolved between parties during the event or during the preparation period, please contact the organizer.

 

- If you give up participating in the project or the event due to having the problem that cannot be resolved on your own, the organizer may help you.

For example: You can only draw using pen and paper but no scanner.
